Beyond the Page

Jennifer Gordon, HHP, is a Holistic Health Practitioner with a Masters in Nutrition, a Reiki Master, an Experienced Yoga Teacher, a woman in long-term recovery, and the author of STAY.

Her work lives at the intersection of nervous system regulation, spiritual return, and the slow, unglamorous work of coming back to oneself. She writes and speaks about returning from survival to wellness, the body as the site of memory and healing, and addiction reframed as a misdirected reach for connection.

Born and raised in Vicksburg, Mississippi, Jennifer earned a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Mississippi before building a corporate marketing career in Austin and Los Angeles. After chronic illness, addiction, and the loss of her sister forced her to reckon with the cost of the life she had built, she returned to the practices that had been calling her for years — yoga, energy work, recovery, and the slow rebuilding of presence in her own body.

Today she lives in Costa Mesa, California, with her two sons. Her perspective is shaped by lived experience and credentialed practice: the integration of yoga, energy work, holistic health, nutrition, and contemplative spirituality without bypassing the body.

Through her practitioner framework, Connections, she offers a group program, residencies at treatment and wellness facilities, and speaking engagements rooted in the four capacities of the STAY Method.
